IT - PAPER PEOPLE per la prima edizione ha avuto forma di evento, con obbiettivi: - la raccolta fondi per l'acquisto di materiali da inserire nel reparto "Area Giovani" del CRO di Aviano, un centro di Ricerca e Cura del cancro sito in Friuli Venezia Giulia, in provincia di Pordenone (Italia) - il mostrare ad un pubblico nuovo l'esistenza e le possibilità del fenomeno "Paper Toys", dando modo a designers/grafici/illustratori/fumettisti/artisti/pittori di essere anche reali protagonisti in un modo non certo usuale ma efficace e d'impatto. |
- dal 16 al 23 ottobre: una settimana di esposizioni in 4 differenti location, ognuna con un singolo progetto interpretato da diversi "customizers": stampati da file digitale e assemblati o realizzati a mano, saranno acquistabili nelle versioni stampate o tramite asta (per i realizzati a mano)
- domenica 17 ottobre: live paint all'interno di "Urban Arts Corner"(evento inserito in "Incontriamoci a Pordenone") - appuntamento saltato causa maltempo.
- sabato 23 ottobre: giornata conclusiva con live painting su progetti bianchi, con ospiti diversi artisti della zona di Pordenone (ma non solo...)
Il ricavo si otterrà vendendo le stampe dei custom realizzati in digitale e mettendo all'asta i lavori realizzati dal vivo.

UK - PAPER PEOPLE first edition with objectives:
- raising funds for the purchase of materials to be given to the "Area Giovani" ward of the Cancer Research Hospital (CRO) in Aviano, Pordenone (Italy).
- Showing a new audience the existence and the posibilities of "Paper Toys", allowing designers/graphic artists/illustrators/cartoonists/artists/painters to be true protagonists in a certainly unusual way, though efficient and remarkable.
PAPER PEOPLE first edition:
- october, from 16 to 23: a week of exhibitions in 4 different locations, each with a single project interpreted by different artists;
- october 17 - live paint on "Urban Arts Corner" (CANCELLED! rain is a real problem...)
- october 23 - final day featuring live painting on white projects, with different artists as guests.
The funds will be collected upon selling of the customized prints whose permission to be sold will be granted by the artists, who will also auction the live creations realized during october 17 and 23.
